GAIL BOYD ARTIST MANAGEMENT WELCOMES TWO NEW CLIENTS

I am pleased to announce two new additions to my roster: Brianna Thomas and Richie Goods. They are stellar talents, and we couldn’t be happier to be working with them. Both will be recording new albums this year.

Richie’s solo project with his fusion/funk band, “Richie Goods and Nuclear Fusion, Live at the Zinc Bar” and his latest release, “Three Rivers” received critical acclaim. After graduating from the prestigious jazz program at Berklee College of Music, Richie moved to New York City, where he studie under jazz legends Ron Carter and Ray Brown. Richie credits jazz luminary Mulgrew Miller for helping him hone his jazz skills early in his career. Richie toured and recorded with Mulgrew for nine years. Richie recorded and toured with a variety of jazz and popular artists such as: Lenny White, Russell Malone, DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Grammy award-winning and platinum albums of Alicia Keys and Common. Richie most recently toured with Grammy winning trumpeter, Chris Botti.

“…A marvelous new artist who has all it takes to reach the top of the jazz profession and music in general.” – Chris Fuller

An alumnus of the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Program at the Kennedy Center, Brianna Thomas had her New York debut at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola. In 2007 she attended The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and in 2009 won the famed New York Jazzmobile Vocal Competition, judged by jazz icons Dr. Billy Taylor, Grady Tate, and Gloria Lynn. Thomas has performed with artists such as Wycliffe Gordon, Wynton Marsalis, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, the Count Basie Orchestra, Dianne Reeves, and Rock and Roll Icon Steve Miller. In 2014 Thomas released her debut album, You Must Believe in Love, and her sophomore release with the The Brianna Thomas Band will be released in 2019.
